Academics from Australia and Uruguay will work together to find common methods for improving financial literacy within their respective populations.

More than 30 students from the University of New England (UNE) from Armidale Australia, and a group of four faculty members visited Uruguay in June 2018 on an agriculture studies ground tour.

On June 20th 2018, Chris Gale, Chairman at COALAR (Council for Australia and Latin America Relations) from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) visited the Australian Studies Centre, having met with Board Members and Executive Team.

On Friday 9 March 2018 we received the visit of Cathy Raper, Head of Europe and Latin America Engagement at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia.
