Australian Department of Foreign Affairs at ASC

Last Friday 9 March we received the visit of Cathy Raper, Head of Europe and Latin America Engagement at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia.

Date: 03/09/2018

On her first visit to Uruguay, Cathy explored current activities between Australia and Uruguay through her several meetings with the national government, the industry and the Australia-Uruguay Chamber of Commerce. The Australian Studies Centre (ASC) presented its activities and future projects and a strong liaison was formed for future collaboration between the Australian Government and the ASC.

Peter Rennert from the Australian Embassy and Amanda Panayotou from COALAR joined Cathy on her agenda. Both the Executive and Research team shared their experiences and projects with the ASC.

We thanks their visit and the opportunity to strengthen our ties!
